A blend of cotton and polyester. A comfortable and durable material.

3D

Space-woven or 3D-woven materials from which all parts of the back supporting system are made (except for Biker 25 and Air 30). It ensures good ventilation of the bottom section of the clothing.

3D technology

3-D technology is used to manufacture the specially shaped parts of the fabric. These products are designed to anatomically adjust to the shape of the body and to sweat-producing areas. Various structures of the fabric support muscle movement and efficiently drain out sweat. Thanks to a network of channels they also maintain proper temperature.

Space-woven 3-D fabrics have been called the fabrics of the 21st century. These fabrics are amazingly functional, elastic and comfortable in every situation.

Armortex

A revolutionary material enforced with DuPont Kevlar fibre. This fabric offers the best properties required in extreme conditions - high tear resistance and low weight.

Bioniq

The advantage of Bioniq fibre is the use of silver ions, which offer antibacterial properties and prevents unpleasant odours regardless of the length of use and number of washing cycles.

What is a membrane?

A membrane is a fabric with microscopic openings between fibres. These small openings allow water (sweat) to evaporate. At the same time, these openings will not let water molecules to pass through, because they are bigger than these micro openings. So you will always stay dry and warm.

What is impermeability of fabrics?

This value demonstrates how many millimetres of water the fabric can hold per 1 cm2 over 24 hours.

For example, impermeability of 4,000 mm means that the fabric can hold 4,000 millimetres of water for 24 hours.

Cordura

test A very strong and resilient textile made of polyamide fibres, which offer amazing strength and resilience to wear and tear and other mechanical damages. The fibre structure and the weaving method make Cordura many times more resilient than traditional nylon fibres. These properties are carefully monitored and controlled by DuPont and only the best materials complying with strict criteria may bear the Cordura® by DuPont trademark.

DuPont Cordura 300

High-tech fabric with extreme strength and resistance against tear and water. Thanks to its unique properties it is designed for backpacking in extreme conditions.

DuPont Hypalon

Polyethylene chlorosulphate extremely resistant to tear and abrasion.

Duraflex

Italian buckles with a lifetime warranty.

Dural 7001-T6

Tents with aluminium alloy construction, offering flexibility and very low weight. These thin, firm and rigid poles are made of special 7001 T6 alloy.

Dural 7075-T9

High-grade aluminium alloy with a greater tensile strength than 7001 T6.

Durawrap

Polyester foil applied to the fibreglass poles. Significantly increases strength and flexibility and prevents fraying in case of a pole break.

Extra-feathers

Used as a filling for sleeping bags. Composed of goose feathers and down (which offer maximum thermal insulation).

The amount of down and feathers is expressed in % in the table under the "filling" column. For example, 95/5 means 95% down and 5% feathers.

Fleece Tecnopile

test A high-quality and comfortable fleece material with excellent thermo-insulating capabilities and anti-lump finish.

 

Full Circle System

or the "Total Circulation System" is a back system that offers special ventilation capabilities. This solution helps your body breathe freely, so you will not sweat at all.

A star-shaped back section maintains a small space between your back and backpack to ensure proper ventilation and will not let you sweat. This soft material fits perfectly on your back.

Gelanots GXPR

test Very light material made with special technology. A thin layer of polyurethane on the inside of the fabric provides such high resistance against mechanical damage that it does not need to be protected by a textile lining. Guaranteed minimum compressive strength is 8,000 mm H2O and minimum vapour permeability is 15,000 g H20/m2 per 24 hours. It is designed especially for very light and packable clothing items.

Gelanots SOFTSHELL

A versatile new generation material designed for sporting and outdoor clothing. It is composed of three layers that are laminated together. The outer softshell layer is mechanically durable, flexible and does not restrict movement. Thanks to Gelanots' water resistant membrane and laminated inner micro-fleece layer, the softshell is 100% windproof and offers excellent thermal insulation and breathability.

A softshell jacket replaces the classic combination of two jackets - a warm fleece top and waterproof / rain resistant jacket used in most conditions that occur in nature. All this without the unnecessary weight and restriction of movement. A perfect combination of functional elements, high-quality brand name zippers and other important details makes this jacket a reliable companion for outdoor activities. This represents a revolution in sports and outdoor attire and can be used everywhere where you do not want to be surprised by harsh weather.

Water pressure resistance is 10,000 mm, vapour permeability is 10,000 g H20/m2 per 24 hours.

Gelanots XP

test Gelanots XP is a trademark used by a wide range of high performance textiles, which are intended for sportswear used in the toughest weather conditions. These materials offer an original way of meeting and complying with the conflicting demands that are placed on functional clothing:

1. Sweat must be removed from the surface of the skin, so the user does not feel wet.
2. It is necessary to prevent sweat vapour condensation inside clothes to prevent the user from feeling cold or catching a cold.
3. Rainwater cannot penetrate from the outside through the outer layer of the clothing.
4. Flexibility is very important in order to ensure that the material does not limit movement of the body.

test Combination of seemingly contradictory properties, parameters and comfort makes Gelanots the ideal material for all outdoor activities, winter sports, running, biking, boating, etc.

The manufacturer guarantees a minimum vapour permeability of 20,000 g H20/m2 per 24 hours and water resistance of at least 20,000 mm water head. These values of Gelanots materials are very high and close to each other and remain almost unchanged even after years of use.

Maintenance: Gelanots does not require any special cleaning processes. It can be machine-washed using regular detergents designated for these types of materials (e.g. Nikwax). Before placing into a washing machine thoroughly examine pockets and remove hard and sharp objects that could damage the membrane. Zippers and Velcro must be closed. Do not use fabric softener and dry chemical cleaning. Stains can be removed with benzine.

Observe:

  • machine washable at 30°C; select the delicate wash program
  • do not use chemical or dry cleaning
  • do not use whitening detergents that release chlorine
  • do not use centrifuge spin after washing, just hang out and let dry
  • never twist or squeeze!
  • may be placed in a dryer, set to the lowest temperature
  • iron to up to 110°C and do not use steam

Gelanots XP 3L

test A three-layer laminate, which combines the following three layers: outer fabric, Gelanots XP membrane and bottom protection layer of the membrane. This material is used for clothing used in extreme conditions and it can resist even higher water pressure - up to 30,000 mm of water head, while the vapour permeability remains the same as with XP 20,000 g H20/m2 per 24 hours.

Harddura

test

A quick-drying, easy to clean, very durable and resistant material. Hardur nylon is 2 to 14 times more durable than cotton or polyester, 4 times stronger than polypropylene and 14 times more durable than cotton. Improves the quality of backpacks, shoes, clothes - in particular their strength and durability.

Hollofleece

test A soft and flexible textile. It is able to anatomically adjust to body shape. Very pleasant to the touch. Wind and moisture resistant. Thanks to its three-layer structure it keeps body temperature locked inside and keeps the user warm. Fleece with two-chamber hollow fibre is used as an inner insulation layer that provides good thermal insulation.




Hollow fiebre 1, 4 a 6

test Hollow fibre 1, 4 and 6 are spirally coiled polyester fibres with 1, 4 or 6 channels. Air kept inside these channels provides excellent insulating properties. Thanks to the flexible bond and to the special layering method, these fibres keep the so-called LOFT very well. This means that when you unpack the product, it quickly retains its original volume and fills up the chambers of the sleeping bag.

Hollow fibres offer excellent insulation even in highly humid environments, do not absorb water and comply with non-allergic requirements. They are easy to maintain and may be washed and dried like other fabrics.

Hypalon

Hypalon is the brand name of polyethylene elastomer from DuPont. If offers excellent resistance, strength and durability. It is flexible, resists UV rays and keeps its properties even at low temperatures.

Sun filters/screen category

FEEL sunglasses are equipped with normalized solar filters based on a 0-4 scale. FEEL sunglasses are provided with standard filters, categorised from 0 to 4. Filter no. 4 is not recommended when driving a car and should be used only by mountain climbers.

The category numbers 0 to 4 determine what light conditions the sunglasses are suitable for.

test Category 0 lets more than 80% of visible light pass through.

Category 1 lets between 43% and 80% of visible light pass through. These glasses are not considered sunglasses, but protect your eyes from UV rays, dust and wind during sport activities.

Category 2 lets between 18% and 43% of visible light pass through. These glasses are designed for everyday use, mostly in the city.

Category 3 applies to glasses used for driving and hiking.

Category 4 cannot be used for driving, because it lets only 3% to 8% of light pass through. These glasses are used in the mountains, snow covered mountains or at the beach.

KTX

A combination of 100% polyester, PVC coating and surface impregnation. This material is characterized by its high resistance to friction and abrasion. Polyurethane impregnation ensures water and rain resistance.

Laminate

The laminate structure is made with a new technology offering lighter pipes together with increased resistance to breakage.

Microfibre

A combination of fibres with two or three hollow cores provides excellent softness comparable with feathers. Microfibre retains its thermal insulating properties even in wet conditions. The excellent flexibility and high warming action offered by this combination make this fibre a revolutionary material.

Neoprene

Special material with high elasticity and excellent thermal insulation properties.

No Wind

test No Wind is a three-layer laminate product from the Italian company Pontetorto. It is a combination of upper layers made of micro-fleece, membranes and a perforated bottom layer. The result is 100% windproof, vapour permeable, soft and comfortable material.

 

Nylon PU with 10,000 mm coating

The floor of the tent is made of a lightweight nylon fabric with PU coating, which can support water pressure equal to 10,000 mm of water head. The seams are sealed with glue.

Nylon PU with 7,000 mm coating

The floor of the tent is made of a lightweight nylon fabric with PU coating, which can support water pressure equal to 7,000 mm of water head. The seams are sealed with glue.

Nylon 190T Ripstop

Very lightweight tear-resistant material suitable for sleeping bags with synthetic filling and with excellent thermal insulation properties.

Nylon 210T

Material most suitable for sleeping bags with down-feathers.

Nylon 260T

Very soft, lightweight and breathable material used mostly as an internal fabric for sleeping bags.

Nylon 338T

Very soft, lightweight and breathable material with exceptional strength and breathability.

Nylon Ripstop 240T or 260T

Ultra-light, breathable and tear-resistant material. Offers very good resistance to UV radiation.

Nylon Ripstop 70D

Very light and tear-resistant material. Offers very good resistance to UV radiation. Thanks to its light weight it is used for inner tents - "tent bedrooms" especially for tents used by expeditions.

Nylon Ripstop Light

100% polyamide with waterproof coating, typical for its lightness and special Ripstop structure, which increases its tear resistance.

Nylon stretch 6.6

test Nylon 6.6 is a flexible, highly durable fabric made from specially treated nylon fibres. It is used especially for exposed and highly stressed parts of the garment. Its elastic ability provides the user with an increased range of motion. This material is highly resistant to abrasion (similar to Cordura) and thus prevents wear and tear of the clothing.

Nylon wicking

test Nylon wicking is a very comfortable fabric made of 100% nylon fibres, specially modified to feel as natural as possible. The result is a fabric with the strength and durability of Nylon but it is soft and drape and has the same ability to drain sweat from the body as natural fibres.

Feathers

Used as a filling for sleeping bags. It is composed of duck feathers and down (which offer maximum thermal insulation).

The amount of down and feathers is expressed in % in the table under the "filling" column. For example 80/20 means 80% down and 20% feathers.

PolarTherm

A fleece material used for clothing equipped with a middle insulating layer (sweatshirts, insert-jackets, etc.) At the same time, it is perfectly breathable, allowing quick drain of sweat towards the outer layers of the clothing.

Polyester

Polyester is a very lightweight but strong and flexible textile. The most important properties of polyester are:

  • high light resistance and stability
  • resistance to weathering and microorganisms (window curtains)
  • low moisture absorption (fast drying)
  • hollow polyester fibres are used as an alternative or replacement material for feathers with an additional advantage. Products filled with this material may be washed

Caring for polyester fibre products

  • products made of polyester and wool blend may be washed in water with temperatures up to 30°C only. When ironing, the temperature must not exceed 150°C.

Polyester PU coating 2,500 mm

Polyester is a very lightweight but strong and flexible textile. This fabric is coated with multiple polyurethane (PU) coating, which can hold a water head up to 2,500 mm and retains its flexibility even at low temperatures.

Polyester PU coating 3,000 mm

Polyester is a very lightweight but strong and flexible textile. This fabric is coated with multiple polyurethane (PU) coating, which can hold a water head up to 3,000 mm and retains its flexibility even at low temperatures.

Polyester PU coating 4,000 mm

Polyester is a very lightweight but strong and flexible textile. This fabric is coated with a multiple polyurethane (PU) coating, which can hold a water head up to 4,000 mm and retains its flexibility even at extremely low temperatures.

Polyester PU coating 5,000 mm

Polyester is a very lightweight but strong and flexible textile. This fabric is coated with a multiple polyurethane (PU) coating, which can hold a water head up to 5,000 mm per 24 hours and retains its flexibility even at extremely low temperatures.

Polyester 190 T Ripstop

75 g/m2 with RIPSTOP modification and with aluminium thermal insulation and glue-sealed seems. Water head 2,500 mm per 14 hours, PU coating. It is used for tent manufacture.

Polyester 190T

Polyester with aluminium thermal insulation and glue-sealed seems. Rain resistant - water head 2,500 mm H2O, PU (polyurethane) coating.

Polyester 210 T 95 g/m2

Polyurethane coating, water head 8,000 mm per 24 hours.

Polyester 292T

Extremely resilient and tough material. Very lightweight, breathable and suitable for feather sleeping bags. Offers very good resistance to UV radiation.

Polyester Micro 317T

Extremely tough material made from polyester 35g/m3. Very lightweight, breathable and suitable for feather sleeping bags.

Polyester Oxford 210T

130 g/m2, PU coating, water head 3,000 mm/H2O (rain resistance measured on glue-sealed seams). Thanks to its extreme resistance it is used to manufacture tent floors and snow collars.

Polyester Ripstop 210T

Very light and tear resistant material. Suitable for sleeping bags with synthetic fillings. It offers excellent thermal insulation properties.

Polyester Ripstop 70D

A textile with a density of 85 g/m2 and with a PU coating and aluminium finish, which increases its thermal insulation properties. Water head 3,000 mm per 24 hours. Rain resistance measured on glue-sealed seams as the minimum value. Used for tent production.

Polyester Ripstop Dobby 230T

Ultra-light, breathable and extremely soft fabric.

Polyester Ripstop Teflon 310T

Extremely resilient and tough material. Very lightweight, breathable and suitable for feather sleeping bags. Offers very good resistance to UV radiation. Teflon coating provides resistance against water and dirt. Highly resistant to repeated washing.

Polyethylene

The floor is made of layered, waterproof polyethylene. The seams are sealed with glue.

Polyethylene - PVC

Extremely strong material.

Polyurethane (PU) coating

It is a layer that contains more than 95% of closed cells. Thanks to this, the layer offers almost zero moisture absorption and excellent hydroinsulation properties. Materials with this treatment still have the ability to release water vapour.

Impermeability of PU coating may be for example: 6,000 mm/cm2

...which means that the fabric will retain water pressure of 6,000 mm per 1 cm2 for 24 hours.

PU coating with 10,000 mm

PU coating 10,000 mm is polyurethane coating applied to a cloth surface, which will retain water pressure of at least 10,000 (maximum of 13,000 mm) water head. Tents made from these fabrics are superior and offer very long life. Seams are usually watertight sealed.

RipStop technology

This modification gives the material exceptional resistance to mechanical damage. Thanks to a meshing structure, the material strength and resistance to tear is greatly increased.

If, despite this strength, the material is torn, the RipStop technology will prevent additional tearing.

S.L.F. (Strong Light Fabric)

Material with high weaving density guaranteeing an excellent ratio between weight and strength.

Silicone application

It is currently the most advanced level of protection against moisture penetration, previously used only for top-class tents. A silicon treatment is applied on the outer shell which provides a highly effective and long-lasting water-repellent effect. Fabrics treated with this method are suitable for use in very low temperatures. The combination of silicone, polyurethane coating and glue-sealed seams and loops provides permanent protection of the outer tent against moisture.

Super Stretch

test A special type of flexible material which can stretch up to 30% and return to its original size.

Teflon

test Teflon (DuPont manufacturer) is a special treatment technology where fibres are impregnated and treated to achieve a high water-repellent effect, while maintaining the original breathability, softness and drape of the modified fabric. The manufacturer guarantees that the water-repellent effect will not fall below 80% of its original level even after 40 washing cycles.

Thermolite Extreme

A blend of specially selected and interconnected fibres. It provides excellent warming capacities, already in small quantities. It is soft and adjustable and retains thermal insulating properties even when wet. It can be machine washed and dry cleaned.

Thermolite QUALLO

High quality seven-channel fibre offering maximum thermal insulating properties comparable with feathers. It dries 3 times faster than feathers, has anti-allergic properties and may be machine washed.

Thinsulate

Heat-insulating material suitable for extremely cold weather.

Triguard

test test Water-repellent, breathable coating applied to double, tightly woven fabric. Repels outside moisture, while draining internal moisture away.

Vibram

test The manufacturer and the brand name of the most widely used rubber compounds used for the manufacture of various types of shoe soles. It provides a high level of comfort when walking in difficult terrains. It creates ideal conditions suitable for walking on a wide range of surface terrains, such as asphalt, ice and sharp rocks.

 

 

Windguard II

test 100% water and rain resistance. This membrane offers excellent breathability. Thanks to its three-layer structure it keeps body temperature locked inside, keeping the user warm.

 

 

 

 

Windless

test Three-layer fabric, which withstands 60% of wind attacks while offering great breathability. A unique, soft and strong material with warming properties. It is suitable for use in medium-demanding conditions. The advantage of Windless is that it will not stretch like Polartec.
